Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
A: You are welcome to come in anytime between 8-4:30 M-F, however, scheduling an appointment is preferred. Schedule an appointment.
Q: Do I need to get multiple estimates if my insurance company asked me to?
A: No, you are not required to get multiple estimates. California Motorist Bill Of Rights states: You have the right to select the repair facility of your choice. Once you have chosen Shanahans as your repair facility we will provide you and the Insurance Company a written estimate for the repairs.
Q: Do I need to contact my insurance company?
A: If an insurance company is going to be paying for repairs then yes, they will need to be contacted before any repairs are started on the vehicle. Once you have received a claim # we can handle everything directly with them. Ask about our Direct Repair Programs to see if your claim would qualify.
Q: How long will it take to repair my car?
A: There are may factors that go into determining how long the repair process will take, therefore it is difficult to set an exact amount of days to repair your vehicle until we have the vehicle in the shop and disassembled to determine if there is any hidden damage. At that time we will be able to provide you with a more exact timeframe of how long the repairs will take. We will also keep in contact with you during the repair process to keep you updated on the status of repairs.
Q: Do you provide a rental car during repairs?
A: We are more than willing to set up a rental while your vehicle is being repaired. We will not pay for your rental car, however we can offer a rental car to you at a discounted rate.
Q: Do you waive deductibles?
A: No, this is never done at Shanahan's Auto Body. It is against the law and we will not take any short cuts in repairs.
Q: Is the work you perform guaranteed?
A: Yes, we offer a lifetime limited warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. Metalwork, painting, parts replacement… it’s all guaranteed.

"We have taken several of our cars to your repair shop, and we will continue to come back. The quality of work is beyond any other. I brought in my 2007 Infinity which I only had 4 months and already had a scratch from a curb encounter. It was very upsetting, but my service writers relaxed mannerism really helped me. I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. Thank you"

"The entire process went very smooth from beginning to the end. I genuinely feel that your company cares about the customer. What did the boss do, lock you guys in a closet with Tony Robbins for a month!! Just kidding!!! It’s just that you don’t see good old fashion customer service much these days. Good Job Everyone…"
